| Subject: what is needed to apply for a visa to the us? |
My friend is an immigrant from china and is wondering if immigrants are allowed to visit the usa? If it´s possible, what documents are needed? thank you!

Are your the same Phil of Yesterday who use to process US immigration as well? If so then you should know this better. If not, then please ignore this question.
Answer, He´ll need to take Visa from the nearest US embassy. Have to make the appoinment online https://www.nvars.com/Production/userhome.aspx. Mind it, he should be planning well ahead, and the avalibility of interview date is not straight forward, rather luck dependent.
have to prepare papers for the Visa Interview. Mainly establishing his strong ties with Canada; permanant job, family, bank statements..property documents...
