| Subject: How can you get a 6 month vistor visa? |

What do you need to show to be able to get the maxiam 6 month vistor visa when entering Canada from Mexico (Mexicans do not need to apply for a visa from outside of Canada) Do you need a certain amount of cash for each day of your planned trip? or can an inviation from a Canadian citizen stating that they will provide for you during your stay be enough?

As far as I know, it doesnt matter if you are making money or not: You can sponsor your boyfriend if you are a PR or a Citizen of Canada. The most important thing to remember is to prove your relationship with this man. Include a lot of picutres taken at different occassions & places etc.
Now: To get a maximum time visa, you must prove that you do have a ,lot of interests back in your country and will go back before the visa expires (Strong documentation of property, business, family, Job etc. should be produced). Enough funds to support yourself for the period of your stay should be shown.
No matter what; Do not inform that you have a girlfriend in Canada if you want to gain entry. This will be a strong reason for refusal and hinder future applications as well.
