(in reply to: medical results have been received) "Medical results have been received" means that your medical results have been uploaded to your visa office. If your background/security checks have been completed you will soon get a letter requesting your passport for visa issuance. At Buffalo, the e-cas is usually updated to this once they are ready to issue the visa, i.e., they are about to mail a letter requesting the passport.

(in reply to: medical results have been received) Hi Samm,
Thankyou for your information,
One more thing to ask you. How long does it take to complete background/security checks? Is their any rough assumption or standard timeline for it.And assuming that if they finish my backgorund/security checks what will be updated message.
Yes, i have my file submitted at buffalo.

(in reply to: medical results have been received) It depends on number of countries you have lived in, places you have worked, your nationality, etc.If you have submitted your application to Buffalo most probably your PPR is in the mail. You should receive it soon.

(in reply to: medical results have been received) I am back again,
What does it mean if they have received medical results does it mean that medicals received were "ok" and case is to be finalised.
Just wanted to know about this out of curiosity.
Thanks
