Rahul,

25% of my cases are of Entrepreneur Category. To qualify as an Entrepreneur, you have to have a Networth of CDN$300,000 at current market value.
Networth means Total Assets minus Total Liabilities.
You must get a recent Valuation of all your assets, Properties and Motor Vehicles by a recognised Valuer in your home country.

Your Financial Statements should be audited statements although the law does not say so, but it would satisfy the Visa Officer when an Auditor´s Report is attached.

Besides a Networth of CDN$300,000 you have to satisfy other requirements.
see www.cic.gc.ca Entrepreneurs.

There are conditions attached to all Entrepreneur applications, different from Skilled Workers application.

Every country has Valuation Officers. You can use private Valuators or the Government Valuators, depends on your local laws. Check your yellow pages or contact your local municipal department.
Some reputable Real Estate Agencies can do too.

Not anyone can make any kind of papers, an Auditor is usually a Chartered Accountant, a Valuator is supposed to be licensed.

You have to be truthful because those Visa Officers are not fools. If you have a good Immigration Consultant or Immigration Lawyer with experience in Entrepreneur applications, you do not have to worry. But if you are doing it on your own prepare for some tough questions.
E.g.
Why do you want to migrate to Canada?
What type of business will you be doing?
How would you market your products, deal with the competition, who will be your target customers, your suppliers, number of employees you will hire, financing of your business etc. etc.
All these should be in your Business Plan.

I hope you succeed and wish you well in your endeavours.

I can answer all your questions and guide you for FREE but not through this forum as I have some enemies here who would disrupt our postings with unnecessary criticisms and led us astray. They did it before and they will do it again, because these people cannot change.

Sometimes the post might get deleted before you read it, the conspirators are at work, they do not want a third world man helping his fellow third world man.

Check the thread with my name and you will see what I am talking about. They showed their contempt for us third world people but they like our money.

So I can give you all the help you need FREE of COST, just send your problems to balwantpersaud@yahoo.ca

I AM ALSO EXTENDING THIS FREE CONSULTATION AND GUIDANCE TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS HELP. YOU DO NOT NEED TO WASTE YOUR MONEY ON LAWYERS AND CONSULTANTS. EVERYTHING IS ON THE WEBSITE, WWW.CIC.GC.CA BUT IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND SOMETHING, WRITE TO THIS FORUM, THERE ARE STILL SOME GOOD PEOPLE HERE OR EMAIL ME.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Rahul,

I may have to advice you on your problems on this forum, instead of my personal email address because a member has sent me an email saying that I should advise you on this forum so that everyone can benefit from my advice to you.
As I am not a selfish person, I will do as the member says.

Now you must produce Balance Sheets and Income Statements for the last 5 years and two (2) of those 5 years you must meet the requirements that you listed above.

You must have a minimum of 2 fulltime employees who are not family members.
Simply, your sales must exceeded CDN$500,000 per annum.
Your Capital or Shares in the business must be at least CDN$50,000
Net Assets must be gretaer than CDN$125,000.

All these figures must be supported by documentation.

I still think you should get a professional to assist you as Entrepreneur cases are technical, it is a combination of Accounting and Immigration Law.

I am new in this forum and I´m not sure if this is the right way to go about it but I have two questions on hand:

1. My husband applied for canadian immigration in 2002 but was denied in 2005 because he did not reach the required 67 points. In 2006, we again applied, but this time I am the principal applicant. We want to verify the progress of our application by requesting for our caips file. Can we request for the two files, my file and that of my husband´s? Will the previous investigations made in my husband´s application expedite my application since the basic information in our family were already taken into account? Will this reduce my timeline?

2. Another question, when I applied in 2006, my elder daughter was below 21 years but now she´s 22 years old and a graduate of a university degree. Must she enroll in a masteral course to qualify as a dependent? Is the status of the dependent child locked in on the date the application was received irrespective of the present status?

I will appreciate very much any help you can give me.
