  Sharon,

There is no comparison with your fiction stories, DB, AND our true story. This story is real and one community member has paper evidence (kind of contact with CIC local and RCMP who were seeking witness statement). People around here had reported the case to authorities because there has been big doubt in the way this man arrived to Canada in a mysterious quick jump. That is why I said no one can be sure if he really applied for refugee status. It has been speculation and calculation, that is all. I do not think the refugee claimants would be extensively investigated by RCMP, CBSA and CIC but they would go through their usual refugee assessment track. I hope some experts correct me here. Also a question: do they keep files of refugees in where they live? I mean are refugee applications processed locally or centrally? If centrally why does this man have a file in the local office of his province?

In the past, I did bring some pieces of the story in some threads for the attention of Roy but it didn´t seem to attract his attention. So I decided to have second opinion with the full story.
I addressed it to Balwant mainly and politely to others. So it is true and I can prove the truth to whom it may concern.

Please Balwant continue your valuable output. Roy please do so.

Thanks all.

well Sutar it is unfortunate that you are not prepared to extend the same courtesy to others that you expect for yourself.

perhaps the person you are talking about should ask their own questions.

Actually, the couple all of sudden disappeared and moved to another area. Had they planned for this earlier or only after the smell of first public tip to local and central CIC? As far as I know they moved to an unknown area but same city. The mum went to their local school, requested the file of her daughter and refused to disclose the address and name of her daughter´s prospective school. At this point the school principal had no option but to alert the social security and the education board. There when I started to exclude refugee claim as a possibity. Refugee claimant, though could be deported at any point of failure, but has nothing to fear or hide...correct? At this stage the woman was pregnant. We have not seen them since the move. Whether the baby was born alive or not, God knows. After that we heard the CIC, CBSA, RCMP were conducting their investiagtion. But again things are kept secret and confidential.

So I guess either this man has been through the ugly lengthy litigations and appeals for refugees and we all are paying for it OR he is caught as fraudulent. I use the word "fraudulent" because I still believe that CIC, CBSA ONLY tolerate the category of "illegal" spouse who were admitted legally but simply violated the rules and overstayed. Even though the Feb 2005 change stated otherwise, I do not feel CIC apply this new rules to anyone but to those who simply overstayed and also genuine spouses. I know Roy and Balwant will disagree here.

If u r or anyone is still in doubt just provide ur fax No and I can fax you a copy of one of public witnesses in his corresponding with CIC&RCMP.

Good day

Sutar B,

Sorry for the late reply. I was busy yesterday afternoon and this morning at the Appeal Division (IAD),(sorry I did not register with the contributor here who said he never saw me at the IAD).
Both cases were fruitful and my clients are happy now.

Now going through all the replies and the questions you are asking, it would be very difficult for me to make an accurate assessment without meeting the person herself/himself.You see Sutar, I have to examine documentation, ask a lot of questions etc.
In view of this, I would prefer not to make any further comments on this matter. I would be happy if other contributors can do so.
Thank you.

I am very confused. If I am not mistaken, you are not inside Canada at the moment but your story is. Am I wrong?

As Balwant has said, there are far too many unknowns in this situation to make any sort of comment.

Thanks Balwant

sharon

I am Canadian. I go out of Canada and do what I like. I come back when I wish. I am entitled to this, correct? But the story is real and true.

of course you are entitled to come and go as you please. I was under the impression you are living in the UK.

You are very quick to insist my story is a fairy tale but you are also insisting with the same enthusiasm that your story is real. There is something highly unfair about your position don´t you think? Your story is not even about yourself so who knows what is true or not. We are debating speculative facts.

I am not in UK. You got it wrong. but it does not matter anyway.

You choose a third party. so I am giving you the freedom of choice. We both can snd proof of our stories to the 3rd party of ur own choice. How about that sherry?

I work a 50-60 hour week and only report to myself sort of like your freedom to come and go from Canada as you like.

now, I must be off to 2 back to back meetings that will take me most of the day. Won´t be around much today. That´s the way my life works.
