what if a citizenship judge feels that you have failed to prove residency? i know they will turn down the citizenship status, but will they also revoke PR or give us a chance to re-apply for citizenship once we have spent some more time in Canada. Also, if a principal applicant (Skilled worker) fails to prove residency but his dependant has satisfied residency obligations does the dependant get his citizenship turned down or PR revoked as well?

(in reply to: what if a citizenship judge feels that you ha...) Just out of common sense;
If you are in situation of facing citizenship judge then at least you are in a good standing of keeping PR. Most probably you wouldn´t have a situation to face him with less than 2 year of staying in Canada. In that case you even can´t apply for the citizenship. So that question shouldn´t come up. Citizenship judges mainly deal with whether you met the 3 years physical resdiency obligation in Canada with some exceptions.
BUT, in case your PR status is gone, as a last resort there is humanitarian ground that you can apply.
If a family member loses his PR it doesn´t have any effect on others. Same thing for citizenship. After landing in Canada the concept of principal applicant/dependent is no longer valid. You can lose your PR, but if they stay in Canada they´ll get the citizenship.
