(in reply to: APP WAITING TIME) I am in same situation and I am also on L1 my family is with me on L2. I applied here as majority of the people get the PR visa from buffalo within 1 year where as if u apply from India , it will take 7 long years. In addition to that if I go back to India while my case is under process , it will be painful for me to follow up, but still manageable .In worst case I may end up losing my processing fee and effort but the probability of that happening is very very low,and thats true for anybody whether that person stays in US/Canada or India.
Considering all this I decided to take this step for betterment.
I understand that every person has different circumstances what is good for me may not be as good or may be bad for u but hope this will be help.

(in reply to: APP WAITING TIME) Thanks
Rkumar for taking out time and replying. With same thought i started the process.Actully my husband is on L1 and we r on l2 .So I think u r right that it is not impossible to track the file only if interview is not waived off we may ahve to come on our own and undertake the interview.
But i think medical can be done in india also.
Anyway thanks again for sharing yr thought.

(in reply to: APP WAITING TIME) Yes i read in some forum that its possible to do all medical activities in India as well. I have heard many people who are in US and their counterparts in india still they are able to manage by doing medical both in US and India.?
