| Subject: Checking on Status of Permanant Resident App |

Does anyone know if it is possible to check on the status of the permanent residence application and how? I have been approved as a sponsor and I have also been told that the package has been received and opened by the embassy and they are reviewing it. Does anyone know if it is possible to check online or a way to inquire on the status now with the Canadian embassy? Please advise. Thanks!

If you go on www.cic.gc.ca online services, you will see application status. You should type your Client number or file number and follow directions there. It´ll show you the application status.
