Subject: BUsiNess / SkiLLed
  Hi,
I am interested in Quebec or the federal program. My situation is that I graduated in 2001 from a tech college in graphic designing in the US. Since then I have used my skills within my business(making price sheets, etc), but I have owned my own business (gas stations)not related to my degree. I am looking at the processing times and the business processing times are VERY long. Can I apply in the skilled worker program, as I do have the skills, I will be NEW to canada so I am willing to go there and work (be an employee). Another reason I have not continued doing work in my field is pregnancies and babies..

Pleaase give me your suggestions.

Also I already know about the PNP program but cannot do that.... if someone can just tell me with the 9 month waiting period at what point is the exploratory visit required?

Again Thank You very much. So far I believe everyone here watches out for each other.... nice group of people. Enjoy your day.

Thanks Atif,
but with my background can I apply as a skilled worker? What if I now joined a company? What are my chances of getting the application approved if I were to do it as a skilled worker? Help Please.
