| Subject: Proof of Funds for Landing |

I do not have the funds with 3 months bank statement but I have my TD Waterhouse brokerage statement from past 3 months with requested funds.
Will this be sufficient or I will have to carry a travellers cheque worth of funds required for 2 people?
Please provide some inputs?

Praveen,
It depends on immigration officier when you cross the border. When I crossed border to become landed immigrant i carried bank statement only since I lived in the US for more than 13 years. It´s hard to day but if you lived in the US for a while, I would guess it is ok to provide bank statements. Good luck.
