Subject: Outside Canada Fees confusion
I am sponsoring my girlfriend who is from Japan, we are living in Brisbane Australia on working holiday visas because her visitor visa in Canada expired in June 2007. Apparently we send our application to Mississauga and payment information supposedly exists on cic´s website and on the Sydney consulate website on how to pay. Each website refers me to the other one, with no information. I spent a month trying to call sydney and when I did they just said that I had to pay mississauga and that I couldnt pay online. I know they want my money and I know I want to give them my money, how?! CIC and the visa section of the Canadian Consulate in Sydney have been no help! We can get the application sent to Manila as well since that is the case processing center for Japan, but their website "fees" page is "error loading" no matter how I try to look at it! Why cant I pay online? I would like to send the fees from my canadian bank account, so whats the problem? I would also be able to use my canadian held visa card to pay, why not? I have ordered the official receipt from the CIC website but it can only be mailed to a canadian address. I have given my brother´s address and then he will mail it to me, is this the right thing to do? We only have 10 months left on our visas in Australia, we want to get her PR by then, any suggestions?

I am guessing you are doing a common law sponsorship outside of Canada, correct?

You need to go through e-cas payment slower and pick Immigration then Mississauga CPC and keep hitting continue and the receipt will come to you via e-mail and you will also see a aview print option.
