Subject: work experience -grduate student
  I am doing masters in a Canadaian university.My university has also given me the position of research assistant.So can this experience be counted for claiming points .If yes, then at what rate?Can I also claim points under the adaptability factor since it a canadian work experience. But the condition is one year in that category and I am not sure at what rate they will consider it.Can somebody help me?

Are you actually working for money or this is a free research that you are doing? On top of that make sure you can prove it in either cases how much you worked in research.

According to the CIC website Researh and Teaching Assistantships are considered as working experiences. You may check the NOC titles and job descriptions at:
