Subject: mother's visitor visa-plsss help!!
  hi,
i am a landed immigrant in Canada. i landed here in sep2007 and now getting married to a canadian perm res in dec2007. my mother is a widow and is staying in india. i have a brother who is a US citizen and earning well. what are the chances of my mother´s visitor visa getting approved if my brother sponsors her trip to come to canada for my marriage.

You work fast! Land sometime in September and are getting married in December same year.

You should ask yourself this question. Why would the Canadian government official trust an American that they have no control over?

Try for a US visitor Visa then if obtained try for a Canadian one becuase the two of them would be coming up for your wedding. More logical and all would have to be done from India.

An invite from you and your bride would be most logical. Possibly your knew PR bride can show support for your mother.

Roy is 100% correct, told the best possible way.

Canada doesn´t have any good reason to honor sponsorship from an US citizen.
