Thanks Samm,Rkumar And Ray...
Rkumar is right ,time is the issue currently.
You guys r Right by submitting proof for language,if the officer is not satisfied he may ask for ielts..and i will get time
but i think (not sure) i am getting 61 without ielts so i just need 6 more points. Lets see.But do u think i have to seperately mention that i am looking 6-8 points on language,,i mean with proof do i ahve to write that i should be awarded 6-8 points. Is there a particular format for addressing this point.
Thanks
nidhi

(in reply to: Thanks All Of You) I can´t prove this but I think claiming 16 is the big hurdle. If you have 67 with 12 points claimed for language... that is what I would do.

(in reply to: Thanks All Of You) right... so claim 12. (for good measure) my suspicion is that claiming a full 16 is what triggers IELTS test results

(in reply to: Thanks All Of You) Claim 12 but still submit supporting documents. Also, you need to specify the points you are claiming for each section.

(in reply to: Thanks All Of You) Sharon idea is great, claiming 16 points triggers IELTS . You don´t need all the 16 points, with 12 points you have good chances your IELTS may be waived.
All the best

(in reply to: Thanks All Of You) Dont be too much confident about waiving language requirements. I have been watching that almost no immigration consultant/lawyers these days are telling their clients to submit their application without an IELTS, come on guys n girls, its just a test of 3-4 hours, prove that you know English !

(in reply to: Thanks All Of You) It´s kinda funny that CIC request ielts but not toefl. toefl is a test designated for north american english whereas ielts is recognized in Britain and aussie. toefl is way better to be used in canada.

(in reply to: Thanks All Of You) there is no guarantee that IELTS will be requested but suggesting your language is less than perfect has far more credibility than saying you are 100% fluent. If it saves 50% of over 67 applicants from needing to sit the test - why not!
