my mother has applied for canadian immigration and its been three years.i qualify as a dependent on her but my graduation is going to complete in june 2008 and after that i want to do MBA(post graduation).so if i take a break of a year to prepare and give my entrance exams then will i qualify for dependent child???i am 22 now

Maybe The department is doing it right for a change and is waiting for you to get a job and proof that you can support your mother before they let her into Canada. But if you keep bothering them I´m sure they will do what they normally do and allow her into Canada so she can file for all the assistance packages that the everyday hard working Canadian has been forced to pay for.
Yesterday on a crowded bus I was forced to contain my rage as I listened to a man (from the Congo) tell his friend how his lazy wife wouldn´t have a forth child so they could get a raise in benifits. Something has to be done but I´m sorry if you and your mom are put on hold for a bit.
