To All
Never thought to challenge this issue before but was asked the question on Friday by a potential client. I´m still considering my reply.
Lawfully admitted and the definition of regulation 11 (1) is explained in the manuals that if admitted lets say the States lawfully for one year and applied for PR status. Regardless of being currently out of status (which ever kind) or having your status expire as long as you reside in the States and were lawfully admitted your application will be approved if you make the points. Several persons on this forum were approved with this issue.
Regulation 11 (2) (a)
If you were Lawfully admitted into Canada and your Student Visa status expires and you missed the 90 day re-instatment period COULD you apply for a new Student permit through Vegreville, Alberta CPC based on the same criteria as someone outside of Canada who was lawfully admitted and resides in Canada?
Trying to start Immigration issue debate.
