am a new worker in Canada.. do i need to wait for six months to apply for PR or can I directly apply without waiting...

You may apply for the PR to Visa office in Buffalo from within Canada, provided you have the Work Permit (WP)valid for 1 year or more.

Depending on your area of expertise and the province where you are located, your employer may apply for a Provincial Nominee certificate and you may apply for a PR status from within Canada.
