Hello

You will need to provide W-2 to verify at least one year of work experience of you ahve applied under Skilled Worker.

Once your IA has been received the CIC will expect a Certificate of Employment from your current employer attesting to your duties, income., etc.

If you have not applied as yet, and this is the initial application, plrease follow the directions precisely. I believe one of the directives is letters of reference from each employer or explanation of why you cannot. In some cases, the absence of the letters would trigger an interview, which you should avoid since they can be stressful cause up to a seven month delay, and cost you unneeded expense.

I hope that helps/

Do all the work has to be related to the profession (web developer) i am applying? Cuz i don´t have 1 yr full time experience in that but i have 3 years experience in restaurant and hotel jobs. Does it count towards experience?

Hi Anonymous

As far as I know it is not necessary to have total 4 years of experience in your field (Say Developer) but when you are filling out your jobs and related data your total experience must be of four years in the occupations listed to get 21 points for experience. Please check occupation codes when you are applying.
