Subject: Notarizing |
Just a small question.
When making a copy of a work permit/visa and passport, do copies of these need to be notarized? if not, which type documents would typically require to be notarized?
Thanks

(in reply to: Notarizing) Assuming this is regarding skilled worker permanent residence application through the Buffalo office.
The application instructions for that office state:
"Send notarized photocopies of all documents except the police certificates, which must be originals."
Here´s the link to those instructions, which talk more about what must be notarized (select Buffalo):
http://cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled-mission.asp
However, our experience was that we did not notarize our passport copies, and had no problem.
