I want to know what are car insurance rates in Ontario
I undesrtand that it depends on age, experience etc
Just want some help in budgeting my expenses

Yes, it is very high and you really need to have good info before signing with any.
Not sure about current, but TDinsurance used to provide good rate. Heard that now many banks started their own insurance at competitive rates.

Also Economical Mutual had the best rates that I could find. Can only get through independent insurance brokerages.
Roy also recommends checking with banks as they often offer car insurance at low rates for their customers.
