I came over with my parents when I was 11, and cannot find my landed immigrant papers. I applied for my permanent resident card and at the time a copy was sent to me and sent along with my application. I now need another copy in order to apply for my canadian citizenship papers. Can I please get another copy. My maiden name was Couto and we came over in 1963. I was included in my parent´s passport, their names were - Manuel Couto and Hortensia Couto. Thank you.

Immigration papers not legible (faded) (in reply to: lost landed immigrant papers)
I came to Canada from England in 1969, age 5, on my mothers passport.

I am in the process of apply for my Permanent Residents Card, but my Landing Papers have faded, and are not completely legible.

Should I replace them before apply for a PR card. Please advise, and if so what the procedure would be to obtain alegible copy of my Record of Landing.

Thank you.
