Subject: ineligibility
I am permanently banned in entering US and I have a US citizen spouse. We are thinking of relocating to Canada. Will my ineligibilty to enter the States affect our immigrant application? Thanks

If it is due to just violating US immigration law (no criminal offence) then no effect on Canadian immigration.

it is all going to depend on what caused you to be peramently banned. If it was an immigration violation - you should be OK. If it is a criminal offence- you have a problem as it will show up on your police clearances.

i was charged with fraud and misrepresentation. i didn´t mean to do it; i was a victim of an employment agency with illegal dealings. i have no criminal offense; my police record are all OK.

Then you should be OK if it is not filed with US police.
