Subject: ineligibility |
I am permanently banned in entering US and I have a US citizen spouse. We are thinking of relocating to Canada. Will my ineligibilty to enter the States affect our immigrant application? Thanks

(in reply to: ineligibility) If it is due to just violating US immigration law (no criminal offence) then no effect on Canadian immigration.

(in reply to: ineligibility) it is all going to depend on what caused you to be peramently banned. If it was an immigration violation - you should be OK. If it is a criminal offence- you have a problem as it will show up on your police clearances.

ineligibility (in reply to: ineligibility) i was charged with fraud and misrepresentation. i didn´t mean to do it; i was a victim of an employment agency with illegal dealings. i have no criminal offense; my police record are all OK.

(in reply to: ineligibility) Then you should be OK if it is not filed with US police.
