Hello,
I was wondering if you could tell me how long the time period has to be from when you leave Canada to when you can enter again. If a 6 month travelling VISA runs out, is it possible to fly to another country for just a week and ask for a new travelling VISA upon entry in Canada... just those few days later??
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much for your time!!!

It is possible. But it all depends on the visa office if they will issue another visitor visa. They will want to know why and for what purpose you want to return so soon. The point is that visitor visa is not for residence, and continous extension of visitor visa becomes similar to residence. So be prepared to explain. Again, it´s up to them.
