Subject: Fingerprint Cards
Hi,

I downloaded fingerprint cards from FBI´s website and pinted them on a plain paper. The note on the card says that the FBI will accept the downloaded paper fingerprint cards, but will the Embasy do?

Thanks

It´s better to get the fingerprint cards. We went to the county sheriff´s office (at the courthouse) and they do fingerprinting during certain times for $15.00 each and they have the FBI fingerprint cards there. This varies from office to office. Our local city police do not have the FBI cards, so we drove out to the county office to get it done. The cardstock is much better than regular paper. You´re going through all the trouble of getting fingerprinted, paying for that, plus paying for the FBI check, and the wait, you might as well just get it done on the card so the FBI has no problem nor does the consulate. It´s just my opinion.
