Subject: File transfered to DETROIT???????? |

Hi,
I just received a letter that my file has been sent to Detroit -on dec 12-, the letter said that is to expedite the processing of my application and not to contact Buffalo anymore, also not to contact Detroit until at least 90 days had passed.
I already had my med exams taken -nov 28th-, fingerprints taken and also passed the interview at the time I applied for my CSQ, but on this letter it says that they may contact me for an interview, i guess it could be because i´m applying to the federal part of the process.
I would like to know if this are actually good or bad news and if someone already passed this part...how far i could be from getting the PR on my passport.
Thanks!!!!
:)

(in reply to: File transfered to DETROIT????????) Sounds to me like all good news so far, especially since you´ve been asked to do medical and it showed nothing unusual.
Transfer to Detroit is indication of serious processing of your application, as this is how CIC speeds up its backlog.

(in reply to: File transfered to DETROIT????????) I really hope so, i was just checking the Detroit web site and it says it could take up to 18 more months for them to process the applications!!!!
:O
I guess my med exams are alright i know i´m not sick or anything that could affect my application process; but on the e-cas site doesn´t show they received the results yet. It just shows that my file was transfered to Detroit on Dec 12
