| Subject: police clearance certificates |
Has anybody had any experience of trying to obtain police clearance from thailand for a thai/uk citizen applying to go to canada.I understand the procedure(exept for price) but also know the thais are very unhelpful at timesThanks

Police Certifitates/Clearances and Authorization for Release of Information in China (in reply to: police clearance certificates)
My wife and I are currently living in China. I´m Canadian, she´s English. I´m sponsoring her for permanent residence in Canada, and to do so we must provide a police clearance from China (she´s lived here for 2 years). We´ve gone to the Chengdu PSB numerous times, and the only letter we can get is a clearance concerning the 4 months she studied in Chengdu, but not the other 2 years during which she´s been living, teaching, and travelling here. Do we need a different letter from the PSB?
