Subject: Advice Overstaying Visa |

I recently married a nice girl in Canada who has overstayed her visitor visa by about 1.5 months. She is originally from India. She is planning to go back within the next few weeks.
I myself am on a temporary work permit in Vancouver, that I have recently extended. I am also from India. I have recently applied for PR.
We got married in Vancouver at the local marriage commissioner´s office.
Will this marriage and visa overstay cause problems for my wife? I plan to sponsor her, once she goes back to India.
Can Immigration find out that she overstayed?
Thanks,
Prashant C.

(in reply to: Advice Overstaying Visa) Well if your telling the truth and providing proof of no convictions for every country one has resided in for more then six months it will be fairly obvious.
That is if she is over eighteen. LOL
