| Subject: VISITOR VISA EXTENSION |

Hi All,
I submitted my mother´s application for immigration on Humanitarion & Compassionate grounds 2 months ago. My mother is on visit visa and her visa is going to expire in Feburary 08. Should i apply for an extension of visitors visa or wait for a decision on her application for immigration on humanitarion grounds. Please guide!

Hi Rakesh,
My mother was also here visiting last year and I extend her visa three times, please keep in mine that you need to submit the application at least 30 days before her visa expires for processing. By doing this she might hear something back within that time frame, just think of it as covering yourself incase things takes longer.

Do you think they will extend the visa because of the reason that her application for immigration is in the process. Or i should mention some other valid reason.
