Need someone´s help. I am full time employed at Toronto since 2003. I am USA citizen and I did apply through Buffalo in 2006. My medical was done in August. I tried to check my status online (e-cas) but nothing appears and when I contected Buffalo office, they wrote me back "Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) does not reflect the status of cases being processed in Buffalo."
My question is, why my status(e-cas) does not have any record?

This is a very weird reply from Buffalo.
I have similar case as yours - On WP in Canada & applied to Buffalo for PR.
I can see current status on e-cas." In Process" since I received my Acknowlegement letter.

One more thing -
Did you see your status anytime before on e-cas & Is it that you recently can´t see your status !!!!
or
Did you check & submit the following after seeing your status last time:
"Please remove the ability for me or anyone else to view the status of my application on this Web site."
I would suggest you to call & speak to CIC Call center.

Thanks for help. I have tried since I got my file number but it never shows anything. Its really frustrating.
