I am in Canada on WP. I have applied for PR to Buffalo in July 2007 and received IA letter asking to go for Medicals in Sep 07. Interview waived. No other docs asked. And not even RCMP check asked in IA letter.
Medical reports sent to Ottawa in Oct 07 by DMP Doctor.
Current PR status - "In Process"
Now I changed my employer and received New WP valid till Dec 2008.
My Questions:
1. Shall I send out the New WP/VR copies for self & family to Buffalo VISA office alongwith Offer letter of New Employer ?
2. Any Tentative time frame - When will I receive my PR VISA letter for sending Passport? (I have not done any Canada Police Clearance or RCMP check as I have not received any request from Buffalo till date. Buffalo VISA office guideline for Police Clearance specify - Not to go for CANADA Police Clearance unless asked by them.)

My e-CAS status still show "In Process".
How do I know that my Medicals have reached Ottawa and updated in System?
I read in a thread someone having called Ottawa and confirmed. is there any phone number to confirm this?
CIC call centre do not respont much to PR cases outside Canada.

My Question:
Qs.1: I have to go to India & retun on Urgent Work.
I have to extend/ renew my Work Visa (TRV)(W1) so I can re-enterin Canada. Is it Ok if I send out my Passport for Work VISA extension to Canadian Consulate General in New York now. (parallelly when my PR is in Process & Medicals also done.)
Qs.2: Is the medical done for PR valid for Work VISA?
or do I have to undergo Medical again for Work VISA.
