| Subject: birth certificate? |

Hi,
Ia m filling the forms to sponsor my parents. The cecklist says that I need to provide a birth certificate. I am from india and have used my 10th certificate as a proof of my birth date & father´s name. Would that be fine here as well or do I need to provide anything else as a proof ?

not sure but you have to have your birth certificate which is ifferent from 10 certificate.
Back in India we usually use 10 certificate as birth proof.
This you have to get from municipal corpoaration where youwere born.
This is what we did because we were not sure whether 10 certificate is acceptable.
