Subject: can a person lose landed immigrant status?
Just a bit of background info first.
I married a German citizen. She came to Canada with her Mother
when she was 9 years old. She has never applied to become
a Canadian citizen. She still currently holds a German
passport. We are getting divorced (married for 15 yrs with
4 children) Is there any way that she would lose her landed
immigrant status by getting divorced? Is she in jeopardy of
getting kicked out of the country if she is in contempt
of court and gets thrown in jail?

If she is reported for serious crimminality of course she or anyone can lose their PR ststus.

Just regular divorce alone has nothing to do with PR status. If she has any criminal offence, then she may lose, depending on the severity of the crime..she also can appeal in response to that..

OR, if she fails to maintain the min´m residency rerquirements (w/some exceptions) that is 2 years in every 5 years then she may lose the PR status.

But she is not a PR (permanent residant) or am I confused?
If you are a landed immigrant you are not necessarily a
PR. You have to apply for it, right? She has lived in Canada for 29 years. I don´t think she would leave Canada for
any reason. So, other than committing a severe crimimal
offense she can not be deported.
She is still a German citizen and holds a German Passport.
If she was still married to me, does that mean she
held dual citizenship while married to me.

If someone lands as a "Landed Immigrant" then he/she is a PR by definition. PR application is just for the PR card, not for the status. Status is already granted when you are admitted as "Landed Immigrant". Some years back there was nothing called PR card even, so landing was the only formality which looks like her case.
