| Subject: Did IELTS send my result to Buffalo directly? |

Hi all,
I had given the address for the Buffalo Consulate for my IELTS results to be mailed to but now I am wondering if without my File Id# or any other identification of my case other than my name, the Canadian Consulate will be able to add the results to my file?
Should I send them another copy with my case number or should I be okay with it.
Is there a way for me to contact them and find out if they recieved it?

assume they did not receive it. If you have not supplied any cross reference information- like your case number it is highly unlikely they would start searching to determine who the test score belongs to.

IELTS score card has the passport number, so that should work as cross reference. I did not let the ELS organization send the score, I got the scores and sent it intimating them of my file number.
