| Subject: Dependant arriving one day earlier than Principal |

My friend and her husband will come from two different places to Toronto. Unfutunately, they just found they would not arrive on the same day. The dependant will arrive 24 hours earlier than the principal. The dependant will try to change the ticket but there may not be empty seats the next day. She also run a risk of passing the visa expiration date.
What is your suggestion? What will the Canadian immgration do to the dependant if she arrives earlier?

The only thing that she can do is wait until her husband reaches her ...may be in airport or the place where she arrives. Or else proceed to the immigration section where she arrives and explain the issue of just 24hrs....Though they may not consider this , but some IOs may be mercyfull....but anyways...nothing much she can do...
If i were she, i will wait until Principal jons me..

She just has to wait at the airport for the principal to arrive.

They will probably detain the dependent for examination overnight and bring her back to the airport and make the dependent wait until Principal applicant arrives.
Worse case scenario is direct the dependent back.
Tell me which terminal and I´ll give you the supervisors telephone number.
Why on earth did this happen and when do the Visas expire.
I´m in hearings tomorrow morning so can not deal with this until noon.

She will try to get a new ticke today.
If she waits at the airport, where can she wait? Is she allowed to stay in the hallway for 24 hours before proceeding to the immigration officer?
Her visa will expire on Jan. 16.
Anothe complexity is added to this situation, her husband comes from a country where there is a security alert at this moment. If for some reason, he could not get out from the orginating country before Jan. 16. What can she do?
I don´t know which terminals they will get out. Is there only one Immigration Office where all new immgrants get their documents stamped?
