Subject: Hoping to move to Canada to work.. need advice |

The only thing currently keeping me from having the score necessary to be able to work in Canada seems to be work experience.
I am 27 years old. I was born in Brazil but also have Italian citizenship. I lived in the U.S. for 15 years but could not stay due to visa issues which is why I moved to Ireland where I can work because of m EU citizenship through my Italian passport.
I really want to move to Canada. I am currently working at an advertising agency here in Ireland as an art director. The position started off as a contract position for a couple months before I was hired. Does the contract work time count toward the "1 year experience"? What if I change jobs? Does it have to be 1 year continuous in one job?
Are there any things that I should be aware of? Any possible complications when applying? I´m not sure if I should get a lawyer and if I do I don´t know where to look for one..
I heard that maybe it would be better to get the process through a recruitment agency in Canada? I
Thank you soooo much!!!
