These types of applications are not simple applications. What seems normal to ten people will not look that way to a CIC officer.

People wake up! Think before you submit.

THESE ARE THE TOP FIVE SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP PHONE CALLS I GOT YESTERDAY EVEN THOUGH I TOOK THE DAY OFF TO GAMBLE. I TRIED BEING NICE ANSWERING THOSE QUESTIONS BUT BY THE FIFTH ONE, IT TOOK ITS TOLL ON ME SO I POPPED A FEW CORKS LAST NIGHT.

SO NOW HERE ARE A LITTE NICER MORE LOGICAL REPLIES.

****WHEN ONE IS IN LOVE THEY RARELY THINK LOGICALLY THEIR EMOTIONS ARE INVOLVED, I LOVE HER/HIM EVERYONE CAN SEE THAT RIGHT?

Questions;
#1 We have both been married before, we think its no big deal we are going to have a nice little quiet wedding in the applicants country then honeymoon. Her children will not be attending nor my siblings or parents would it be considered a problem?

#2 We neither, have never been married before and neither family will be attending due to money reasons! Will the CIC officer call my partner for an interview because of that?

#3 We save money by using phone cards to communicate and even though we chat all day long and send loving passionate filled emails to one another we didn´t include any because some of our conversations are very personal. Would that be a problem?

#4 We sent in photos of us in various states of undress to prove we consummatted our marriage. That is a good thing right?

#5 We are both in Canada and next month when we get married due to my job we will not be able to live together, will CIC see this as unusual? What questions do they ask at marriage interviews?

Answers
#1 Get married in both countries and make sure the kids attend one wedding and the applicants family the other wedding.
#2 My kid gets married for the first time and does not invite his mother the next thing I would be attending would be a funeral.
#3 Phone cards only show they were used not any proof of the fact you called him/her. Black out the real steamy stuff but send proof of communications. You can write in blue pen above the black ink e-mail steamy parts (personal).
#4 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not all people in their birthday suits are beautiful to eveyone else. Trying to hard to prove a relationship implies it is a bogus relationship.
#5 YUP big time that will have to be explained in GREAT DETAIL! They will ask all types of questions at marriage interviews like if your not trying to get pregnant what method of birth control are you using. When was the last time you made love, who showered first this morning, where does she keep her undergarnments? What brand of TV do you two have? Describe your residence in detail from entering your front door, etc. etc.

***** Folks we are all different, we interpret things totally different, and what the two of you see as normal, others will not. Sometimes that will make you happy because your not like them. Sometimes good advice is worth every penny.

This person is someone you want to be allowed to be with, someone you want to wake up with in the same bed every morning and someone you want to go shopping with for only the first year of marriage.

Think before you submit.

people forget that the onus is on the applicant to justify the PR approval - it is not a automatic right. The process is faster and with far fewer qualification criteria than a Skilled Worker application - but you must earn that approval!

If your friends have a hard time understanding the relationship, you can bet CIC will too.

If you must know, my guy and I were so sure we would run into family class road blocks that we elected to go the long way and be sure of eventual success.
