  Hey Guys,

I would like to know whether there could be something wrong with my case. I applied in end of Jan 2004 received AOR in Feb 2004 second week and sent my IELTS in July 2004. So far I havent received any information from CIC Buffalo. I am doing this through canadian consultants and they said that it normally takes 12-14 months for the immigration process. As indicated by the consultants, i should be hearing from CIC by the end of this year. Please let me know whether it is normal for CIC to take this time as I waiting for the medicals to be sent to me and I am in the US for the past 7 years. Please share some information with me.

Regards

Are you sure your CONSULTANTS are doing any work? Are they calling the CIC and making any effort to expedite the process? Who are these consultants? I hope they aren´t Abraham and Company. If you have a lot of time to sit on this matter, you might as well let it take its course and be content with the cash you are accruing each month in the US. If you are short of time, you may have step on the toes of the consultants. Are they playing you for more cash? How much have you paid?

Hi,

Its not Abraham and co. I have paid only $1000 for now and will pay the balance of 500 once they send me the medicals.

DO u have FBI clearance ready or apply and keep it ready. Your case is unique one. Include your home country PCC ready. Check the local doctor who does immigration work. It might have been delayed wait till jan then order for CAIPS notes you will know where your thing is stuck.

Good Luck

Hey Anonymous,

Thank you for the tip. As advised by the consultants, they said it would be better to wait to hear from CIC regarding IA and then do the medicals and pcc. You mentioned this could be a unique case, why do you say that? Are there not people in my same case? Please confirm.

Thank You,

Raymond
