Subject: Divoice impaction to immigration
I have a problem with my skilled worker immigration. I came here as a visitor to visit my husband who is an international student and held a study permit at 2005.11. We submitted our immigration applications and got the FN at 2006.2 (He is principal). We separated around 2006.12. We have decided not to notify the cic for this situation to ensure both can get the immigration. This month he got the entry visa, but he didn´t give me and ask me to issue the divioce document immediately. I don´t know if that will impact my immigration? By the way, i have got the LMO 2007,12 and applied for my work permit extension but because of holiday, the application is still in process. I am totally quatified for applying immigration by myself
Thanks for your reply.

have you legally landed? Without landing your immigration is not valid.

getting a divorce before landing is a change in status and I believe you would be removed from the application.

you may be facing a new application on your own.

No, I haven´t landed because the landing papar is in my husband´s hand. Actually he promised before not to notify the cic because of money i gave him. I am so argry. If i tell the cic this situation, what will happen to his immigration?
