Subject: unable to attend the interview at Buffalo
  Dear All:
I applied for PR as a skilled worker at Buffalo in June 2006. In the initial assessment of my file (August 2007), interview was waived. I´ve done the medicals and paid the Right of Landing fees. However, I just learnt from e-case that I need to attend an interview in late Feb. 2008. This is actually a very short notice and I may not be able to attend the interview. I need a US visa to enter US, which may take long time and I may even not be given one at the end. Please help me with these questions:

1-What options are available to me if I am not able to attend the interview?
2-Can the interview be done on phone, or postponed to another date?

Any further suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,
Farijam

Sorry to hear about that but I was really surprised CIC didn´t provide you with a written document about the interview. It sounds like a mistake to me. You might want to send them an email to ask about the situation, they´ll respond you in a couple of days normally.

you should have received something in writing about the interview. Have you recently moved and not notified CIC?

where are you know and how long have you been there?
