Subject: PROOF OF FUND
  Hello guys,

I would like to ask for any opinion regarding my plan, and here it goes...

I would like to file an application for skilled worker´s visa next month but i have a problem with my fund, Is it ok if I just borrow the money and produce bank certificate then file my application, I will just make it sure that I will produce the same amount after 12months? or before my interview.

Thanks for your advice.

Cheers,

Neo

too risky and unethical, don´t do that. you cannot just borrow money and present a bank certificate, embassy can detect that kind of cheating. if you are confident, that you can produce that same amount requirement, you can declare it in your personal networth statement, and embassy will understand that. just be prepared to show it during interview and at the final stages of the processing of your papers. by and by embassy will request your updated personal networth statement to see if you are meeting the required funds, how much is your expected fund requirement?

Thank you Sakuragi (SLAM DUNK-Anime?),

Well I think I can earn and save cash US$10,000 this 2005 in Saipan, plus the fact that I have a Car worth US$3,000 and a small business worth US$4,000. no other liabilities aside from credit cards.

Do you think is it ok to declare my target cash of US$10,000 even though i dont have it now on hand?

Thanks for your further advice.

Hey Neo

Beg borrow steal and you can show the funds immigration doesnt care if you have good points. Borrow money and deposit in your account and take a pass book copy and send them and return money to the person whom you borrowed. There is no system where they can check from your bank. What the other person said is bullshit.

Well well... canadians expect you to have that money for a reason. Canada is not a high flying economy. You will have no job when you arrive and can not get free cash that grows on trees (only Canadians can get that). So what will you do? Become Beggar Vance?

CIC can, and will request verification of funds throughout your application process. They will ask for 3 months of bank statements each time. They are not stupid and they know all the games and tricks. If you are serious about immigration, do it by the book.

Neo,

There is no such thing that immigration will track every applicant´s bank statements to find out whether you had that money before or not.(unless they are suspicious of something from you) Most of international students in Canada and any other applicants for Preminent residence usually borrow money from one another to have proof of fund everytime they apply for visa extention or to show to immigration.

Personally, i did the same thing, I´ve been living in canada for 6 years, my PR application is in process and i passed my IA and waiting for my PR.

So go ahead with it. It shouldn´t be a problem.

Good luck

Carrie offers very dangerous advice. Our application through Paris has had 3 requests for proof of settlement funds. if you do not provide- they close the file. If they find out you play games -they close the file. If they find out you do not actually have the money, then you have been fraudulent with CIC. Kiss your immigration goodbye forever. is it worth it?

hello
honesty is always the best policy . It is better to try to arrange the money . but in case it is not possible you may do what carrie did (borrow ). but atleast try to know some experiences of other who did the same thing .

hi neo,

the anonymous guy that post reply at 9:52 is a real cheater,
don´t listen to him, his advice is a work of a corrupt person.

regarding your proof of funds, in the personal networth statement that you will fill out, you can include all your property and there face values in dollars, your car, your house, your real estate, you business, investments, cash in bank, and etc. in totality you should meet or exceed the CAD$ fund requirement. you must support them all by documents, and written explanations of your accumulations of funds and it´s history. any changes in the future updates,
you have to make another explanations, any variations from your previous statement must be explained and documented. that is embassy requirements. but at the end, you should be ready to liquidate all of them to prepare for immigration procedures, at the port of entry, immigration will check again if you bring those funds when you landed. so you are obliged to bring them in Canada, borrowing money just to show you have funds is not adviseable.

Thank you sakuragi for a sensible advice, to the other poster i´m sorry i didn´t get my point, I didn´t say that I will go to Canada as a beggar, My point is i want to make application today but didnt have that 9k+ Can$ in bank to support my application but I can make atleast $US20 before the end of the year, but i dont want to waste such time waiting for the end of ther year just to have the fund on hand before filling my application. (do you got the point? its about time constraint.)

there´s no cheating there.. I will have my own "HARD EARNED" money by year-end while my papers is on process and will be ready to show to CIC, I understand processing will take upto 2years in most cases which i think by that time have atleast $50,000 in bank how about that?

some people are norrow minded, i´m sorry for you. well in the end so far I think filling it Dec. 2005 when I have atleast $US10 will be the good option as per advice by mr.sakuragi I will just sacrifice 1 year in this process.

Thank you for you inputs guys, to others please think first before posting such crap & insult.

Cheers,

Neo ;)
