I am in Canada on WP. I have applied for PR to Buffalo in July 2007 and received IA letter asking to go for Medicals in Sep 07.
Medical reports for PR sent to Ottawa in Oct 07 by DMP Doctor.
Current PR status in e-cas: "In Process"
Recently, I changed my employer and received New WP valid till Dec 2008.
I have to go to India for Urgent Work & return back.
I have to extend/ renew my Work Visa (TRV)(W1) so I can re-enter Canada.
My Questions:
Qs.1: Is it Ok if I send out my Passport for Work VISA extension to Canadian Consulate General in New York now. (parallelly when my PR is in Process & Medicals also done.)
Qs.2: Is the medical done for PR valid for Work VISA also?
or do I have to undergo Medical again for Work VISA

Sir, I am on a same boat, i got my W1 VISA, do i need to get another TRV now ? or i can travel to canada on this same W1 VISA STAMPED on my passport? the validity is till nov 2009

Dear Sir
I am from Chandigarh(India). one of agent in my city told me he can arrange 2 years Canadian work permit, ( Work Visa W1. this company providing packing job in Vancouver and 20$/hour. I am 38 years old.He told me processing time is 20 days after submitting documents with him. My question is does this opportunity is possible or all this is baseless.
Please anyone can guide me in this concern.

Ask your agent to first arrange a positive HRSDC approved LMO for you and then you will pay him.

Thanks in advance to reply. I completed my B.pharmacy. One consultant said to me that he will get me W1 visa. To work in North Vancouver Canada as a pharmacy technician Pay per month is $3300. My query is how come it is possible and any one is already working there. Kindly reply me as soon as possible.
