Please advice on how long one should wait to sponsor pouse after the wedding? would they be sus if filled after a mth of getting maried?

There is no time line about when or after how long you are allowed to sponsor your spouse according to CIC regulations.
However the tricky thing here is to be able to probe that your relationship is genuine. The marriage certificate is not enough to demostrate a "true" marriage.

thanks Bill. It will be a marriage of true love, having met on the internet some 10mths ago. Am from Southern Africa and partner is Canadian. He came to meet me over Xmas and spend close to 7weeks together. We tel/tlk on yahoo/email daily proof available. He met all my family proof also available. How long is the ´initial aplication´?
