Hi, I have obtained permanent residence for more than a year. I left Canada in July last year and still I am abroad. In order to comply with residency obligations I have to accumulate two years of physical presence in Canada in every five-year period.
Please provide some advise how can I legaly escape from this obligation?
Thanks

residence outside the country (in reply to: Permanent residence) Not many choices, but if you are lucky when you pass the border maybe you won´t get the stamp, that way there is no proof that you left the country.

NO (in reply to: Permanent residence) Legally - you can not because it would play against the rule itself.

physical presence (in reply to: Permanent residence)
What stamp? If you have a permanent resident card, do they still stamp your passport when you enter?
-Even if they don´t stamp it, I think that you have to show them your income tax return as a proof of physical presence. What else can they use?
