Subject: After Studies, PR?
Hello,
Is it true that the Govt. will be introducing a new program soon that after you completed a 2 years Diploma program in Canada you will be eligible for Permanent Residence?
Is anyone acquainted with this new program?

based on your other posts, why would you want to live in a racist country?

well, I am a student here and I am entitled to my opinion just like you. whether I want to live here or not is not your business. I was just seeking advice from people here and not necessarily you.
are you a racist? it appears so.
isn´t free speech allowed in this country? or is it just for a few?
can any of you other guys advice me on the student application for PR after studying for 2 years?

am I a racist? please explain exactly what I said that is remotely racist. am I racist towards you? I did not know that 158.149.34 had colour or nationality and Peeping Tom is hardly a give away as to your race.

Perhaps you are confusing racism with a dislike for bad manners.

If you are legally admitted to Canada for 1 year you can apply as a skilled worker if you hold sufficient points. The proposed experience category has yet to be implemented. If there is an election, the program could very well be put on hold indefinitely.

Hi, I heard that too. But I am not sure. I live in Finland. Tom, If you wanna compare Canada to Finland I would say you did not see any racism. It´s difficult for asian/african people for a get job to Mc donald or cleaning firm; beside that they will pay you less money compartively Finns. I applied for that reason to Canada. Not for me but for my child.Racism is all over the world; somewhere it´s less and somewhere it´s too much. For liberal country( for exam. USA) has more racism...have you seen any black President?? I am not blaming them cause people are not same. I know some people(white guy) they are even better than others. One of friends all the time complain about white people and i told him you are a racist..he said I was not racist and I become racist beause they make me. I think 3 things never should discuss 1) Politics 2) religion and 3)Racism. Have a good day.

Tariq,

I didn´t know much about Finland. Sad to know that.

Like it or not, racism is all over the world. True. Perception of racism also is nothing solid, may vary from person to person.

Though measuring racism by looking at the fact of no blak president would be too simplistic. I´m not saying that is a good practice or it is their credit but no black president means they are racist like interpretation can be very misleading.

Look at some Asian countries; like India, Pakistan, Bd. They were ruled by the women for a substantial amount of time (like Benzir Bhutto, Mrs. Gandhi, Hasina, Khaleda of Bd.). So we can assume that women must enjoy a lot of freedom there. Shouldn´t we? No need to talk about the ashaming reality as I´m from that region too.

Issue is not to spread any grudge aganist Pakistan/Bd./Ind., they also have some values better than other regions. Just quoting you some examples of too much simplification.

I would look at how the immigrants are being merged with the mainstream society. How to measure? It also may be debatable. Freedom of Speech, freedom of culture/religion...but prime thing may be the "Bread & Butter" for everyday survival. In racist USA, immigrant unemployment rate is lower than the national average. Poverty rate for the colored Asians is also lower than the national average. This is the hidden secret why some immigrants everyday complain about racism but never wish to leave USA, rather try by all means to stay in that racist country. I´m not comparing this with any other country.

I wish you Good Luck in Canada.

Hello Bally

Dear Tariq

I met several Iranian refugee´s in Oslo as potential clients that claimed the country was unfair. In fact that was more then a decade ago.

Has Oslo increased its underground network of highways below the city in the last decade. I really liked that concept and had great difficulty trying to navigate those tiny streets.

Tariq and DC:

I was just enquiring about something I read sometime ago that after 2 years of studying, the CDN Govt. will grant you PR provided you have an employer. I do not know if this is true.
I was answering someone on a previous post, where he said Canada is racist, I only gave my opinion on what I observed and experience in Canada and I think that post was deleted.
Sharon is a very powerful woman here, she got another guy banned from this forum because the guy was not in agreement with her. The webmaster is not fair because a few persons also on this forum uses rough language like the other guy but they were never banned, why?
I am sure if that guy was white, the webmaster and Sharon will never have him refused because Sharon and the webmaster are also white.
I am from Bangladesh, but white people addressed me as Paki. I have a friend from Mauritius and they even called him Paki.

Tom, so you are from Bd.? (I´m from there too).

Though some of our friends here suspect you as someone else (Bally).

Anyway, where you are from or who are you really don´t matter a lot to me. I only care what you are saying.

In any civilized scoeity you have the full right to express yourself. So do all. If you find Candians are racist or Tariq finds Amercians are recist we all have to digest. Just be deleting threads can´t make any difference, if not the reverse.

His original name is Balwant Persuad an immigration consultant. http://www.canadaimmigrationbpa.com/aboutus.html

He used to take part in this forum and apparently involved with some problems here with some regular members. Lots of bitter allegations & conter allegations were going on and at last he decided to quit this site (according to him).
