hi, my husband has a criminal record,it´s for GBH and was 14 years ago when he was 21, it is the only time he has been in trouble with the police. will this stop us from getting into Canada.please help as can´t find any info on the subject.

Okay what is GBH and what country did the offence occur in? Certain countries give pardons and if his country is one get one quick.

If he is from a country that will not give him a pardon he has a few options. He can arrive at the POE and try to prove he is deemed rehabilatated or he can apply for the same which could take years.

More detail is required especially regarding the offence. Potential sentece etc. The offence has to be equated to the CCC.
