| Subject: How to get to Vancouver from Seattle ? |
I am flying from Arizona to Seattle and planning to drive to Vancouver. What is the best way to cross border (bus, rent a car etc.) ?
I only have a visa and going to get PR card.

Not sure what you´re asking. If you´re going to rent a car, then drive across the border.
Otherwise, I would take Amtrak Cascades train as a convenient and pleasant way. Daily rail service from Seattle to Vancouver.

the only concern I would have around ´group travel´ is the time involved to formally land. I don´t know if the bus or train would be willing to wait.
sometimes landing can take 10 minutes... other times a hour depending on the time of day, potential problems with documents etc.
anything that can be done to untie the landing from an uncontrollable schedule may be in everyone´s best interest.

I herad that in the even of long immigration wait for any reason (both US/Canada); the person has to wait for the next bus at the border as the bus can´t wait for 1/2 hoours just for a single person.

That´s a good point. There is no official notice that landing cannot occur when traveling by rail. However, at the Amtrak/Via Rail crossing at Pacific Highway Surrey, BC / Blaine, WA, new immigrants may be delayed to complete paperwork for immigration/landing, and might not be able to continue on to Vancouver on the same train.
Best to call Canada border services to find out current advice and procedures if arrival by rail is desired.:
