| Subject: submitting spouse sponsership |

Hi
I apprecitate very much if some one can help me with these questions
1. Does the processing of spouse sponsership application take longer if both sponser and applicant live in canada. if so how long? does it take two years to schedule for the spouse interview. Is it faster to submit it from outside canada, your recommendation is appreciated.
2. My spouse lives outside canada, if I submit the sponsership and PR application for her, Can the canadian embasssy grant her a visitor
visa during the processing of her application. Knowing that she
may have invitation from her relatives in canada.

Your answer requires several points of but´s and if´s. The main detail you left out is their visa post.
1) Any spousal sponsorship outside of Canada is normally far faster but if there is a serious security issue it could take just as long.
2) Yes depending on the location where you live an interview on a In-Canada application whether in status or out of status could take easily 2 years with an additional year to obtain Landing.
3) Check your spouses visa post processing times some are very fast. India-China etc.
4) Anyone regardless of having applied for PR status can get a visitor visa IF the visa officer believes the partner will leave and comply with the visitor visa issued! BUT many would logically be refused a visitor visa once the visa office knows that they already have received an application for PR status from the same person now applying for temporary status document!
