Subject: Buffalo timelines - and AOR.
Hello all participants of the Forum:
I sent my application under the "Skilled Worker" category to the Buffalo Office on Sept. 14, 2004. I had sent the application fee and the ROLF using Money Orders which I traced as "cashed" on Sept. 27, 2004 i.e. the money was received by the Buffalo office by end of Sept. And since then, I am waiting but still have not received an AOR. Using suggestions from some Forum participants, I went to the site, "www.yogi799.com" and saw that now some applicants who applied in Sept. 2004 have received their AOR. My questions are:

(1) Is there anyone who applied to the Buffalo office under "skilled worker" category, before Sept. 14th, 2004 and has now received the AOR?

(2) What is the average time for receipt of AOR from Buffalo office for applicants who applied in or after Sept. 2004? It seems that since Sept. 2004, the Buffalo office has slowed down as far as sending AORs are concerned. I am concluding this from my observations of AOR receipt time frames as posted on "www.yogi799.com" Please send any information on this issue.

Happy New Year of 2005 to all of you.....

My paperwork is on its way. I held onto it so I could match the end of present contract with the US Govt to match with my move to Canada. I expect to move to Canada next Christmas. I am a one man show I can dart in and out of Canada whenever I feel like.

that is absolutely true.AOR are coming late for persons who applied in sept and after that as per my observations.people who applied in aug and before were lucky and received it in 1 months on avg. Some of my friends are also waiting. But I think you will receive it in jan.now the delay is because of christmas holidays.Any comments on this are welcome
