Subject: disqualifier? |
i was wondering if someone has a couple of misdemeanors (minor offences) in the past 10 years, would this be a disqualifier for immigration for someone who would otherwise qualify? being nonviolent crimes.
thanks in advance!

(in reply to: disqualifier?) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/conviction.asp#deemed
You may find some information there. I do not know what crimes exactly make one inadmissable, but I know that, for example, drunk driving and loss of license, even with no jail term at all, makes one inadmissable untill they are deemed rehabilitated.
