Subject: BUMAC
  Hi,

My girlfriend moved to canada late last year to live with her mum. She is pregnant and I aim to move over around June/July time. My plan is to go over as a visitor for 3 or 4 months first, and move into my girlfriends appartment. I also have a BUMAC gap year permit which has been accepted (all I need to do is fill in and send back once my police check comes through). After living together for 1 year, Im hoping I can be sponsored as family class. Im also hoping that the sponsorship process is completed before my 1 year permit expires.

My question is this; can i take my BUMAC visa with me when I visit, and then after 3 months, can I fly back to the point of entry (Vancouver) and have the BUMAC permit stamped?

Thanks very much.

I can´t tell you about the BUMAC but I can tell you that it is wishful thinking that you will complete an in-land application in under a year.
